WILD11 — GUIDELINE FORMAT FOR RESOLUTIONS
Note — Spell all acronyms the first time they are used, then use acronym when used again, for example: Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD); European Commission (EC); etc
TITLE: name of issue, place, organization that is the object of the action
WHEREAS: background information to the issue, very brief, for example

The results of…
The escalating destruction of..
The important work being done….
THEREFORE what is being done currently, by whom, why it is important to act further …in simple language..with one idea per sentence, one sentence per paragraph, for example
RESOLVED in “bullet” form; starting with active verb , a list of suggested positive actions — can be a “negative “ only if absolutely necessary, but the majority must be solution-oriented; all actions (funding, technical assistance, policy formulation, etc) must be directed towards specific, named organization(s) or individuals , for example
